2nd Annual Winter Solstice Walk

Beginning at Tucker Silk Mill, join your friends to celebrate the solstice with hot chocolate, a reading of children’s solstice stories courtesy of Book & Puppet Co. and a few solstice songs.

A man plays a trumpet while others hold papers with lyrics at a Winter Solstice event at the Karl Stirner Arts Trail in Easton, Pennsylvania.
Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Following the gathering at Tucker, we will walk from the Silk Mill to 13th Street where trumpeter Jeremy Joseph will lead a festive, candlelight walk along the trail to usher out the autumn season and herald the arrival of winter. As the sun sets on the shortest day of the year we will sing some songs, read some seasonal poetry, and look forward to lengthening sunlight. There is no charge for this event and all ages are welcome.
