Saturday, December 17
4:30 p.m.: Gather at Thrive Easton in the Simon Silk Mill (1247 Simon Blvd. R101) for hot chocolate and children’s stories. Earl the Accordionist also will be there.
5 p.m.: Jeremy Joseph, bandleader for the Easton Big Easy Brass Band, will lead the procession to the footbridge across the trail. Poetry and music on the trail until 5:30 p.m.
In the event of inclement weather, the solstice walk will be canceled with no alternative date. A decision will be made by noon on December 17 and announced on the KSAT Facebook page if the weather is not cooperative.
