Join the more than 200 people registered for the Seventh Annual Artful Dash 5K Run/Walk, which takes place on the Karl Stirner Arts Trail on Sunday, Oct. 13. Online sign-ups cost $35.
You can also sign up during packet pickup on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 8:30 a.m.–noon at the Easton Farmer’s Market at the west entrance and from 8–9:45 a.m. on race day at $40/person.
All proceeds benefit the art and free community programs provided by the Karl Stirner Arts Trail.
The race will begin at 10 a.m. behind Don Juan Mex Grill at 300 North Third Street, heading onto Bushkill Drive for a quarter-mile before turning onto the main portion of the arts trail. Speed past sculptures or enjoy the sights while walking through the trail. The turnaround and water point are at the 13th Street parking lot.
This race is dog-friendly and open to all ages. Runners under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Following the race, prizes will be awarded to top finishers for different age groups and genders, and other fun will take place.
This year’s race marks the debut of professional computer chip timing at the Artful Dash, which will provide accurate times for participants.
