The Karl Stirner Arts Trail was born from the imagination of Easton, Pennsylvania, community leaders willing to dream and scheme about the possibilities among art, nature, our environment, and humanity in an urban environment.
The KSAT founders envisioned the trail as a natural space dedicated to using art and nature to advance civic dialogue. Since its inception, KSAT has served as creative capital to bolster regional revitalization efforts, and the trail continues to foster civic and cultural pride among all who encounter its wonder.
Located along Bushkill Creek and a reclaimed rail line, KSAT exists in an urban environment and serves as a vibrant community anchor that exemplifies the power of public-private partnerships.
The trail is named for the late Easton sculptor Karl Stirner, who spent 25 years as a mentor and champion for local artists, ushering aspiring artists to Easton.
