The Artful Dash 5K Inaugural Walk/Run

Run through an outdoor art museum!

Oct. 14, 2018, starting at 8:30 a.m.

You can run or walk amidst 15 different works of art including sculptures, murals, and horticulture along the scenic Bushkill Creek. Join us for your first 5K, to try to set a new personal record, or to check out the art. This first-time event is walker-friendly, stroller-friendly, and dog-friendly.

The race begins behind The Spot on North Third Street in Easton, heads along Bushkill Creek and through the arts trail, then diverts onto the new Nature Trail section, winds back onto the arts trail, turns around at 13th Street, and returns to The Spot.

Awards will be given to the first three male and first three female finishers as well as the top male and female racers in the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.

Now-Aug. 31: $25
Sept. 1-Oct. 8: $30
Race day registration: $35

Entries are non-refundable. This is a rain-or-shine event.

Sign up by Oct. 8 to guarantee a race-day shirt.

Registration at the packet pickup tables is $40. T-Shirts are not guaranteed.

Early packet pickup: Friday and Saturday, Oct. 12 and 13, 5-7 p.m. at Easton Public Market
Race day pickup: Sunday, Oct. 14, 7-8:30 a.m.

Schedule
7 a.m.: Race day registration opens/packet pickup
8:30 a.m.: Registration closes
9 a.m.: 5K starts
10:30 a.m.: Awards ceremony (will be adjusted based on last finisher’s time)

Parking
We encourage participants who live in the community to get a warmup by running, walking, or biking to the event. Suggested parking lots include:
-13th Street, parking limited
-Lot across from the Williams Center
-Street parking near the start line (College Avenue)

Proceeds of the event benefit Friends of the Karl Stirner Arts Trail.
