Tree work will take place on the trail Sunday morning, close to the 13th Street entrance. The path will be blocked for the removal of a dead ash tree as well as a tulip poplar that fell into another tree, creating an unsafe situation.
Please exercise caution, and please respect the tree removal crews.
It is very dangerous to go through barriers into the work zone as branches and larger parts of the trunk can fall. Please heed all caution signs, and do not go through the area. Thank you for your cooperation during the work periods.
