The Karl Stirner Arts Trail (KSAT) invites the community to enjoy a free screening of the Pixar animated film WALL-E on Oct. 21. Part of the Movies Along the Trail series, the family-friendly film will start a bit past sunset at 6:30 p.m.
With the possible rain expected to end in the morning, KSAT is planning to go ahead with this event as scheduled. There is no rain date.
Luminarias will line the trail to guide guests to the hill across from the dog park where the movie will be shown. Bring a blanket or chair and whatever snacks you’d like to munch on during the film. Prints created by Nestor Gil, the 2023 KSAT artist-in-residence, will be posted.
Wall-E is set in the distant future, when “a small waste-collecting robot inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind,” according to IMBD.
KSAT thanks the generous sponsors for the event, Easton businesses Unity Bank and Integrated Automotive Services.
Earlier that day, the arts trail will host the annual Come as You Art children’s costume parade from 1-2:30 p.m. This year’s event will be expanded to include the debut of the Come as You Arf pet parade.
